Kingfisher lake is just over a acre in size.We exavated this lake 1997,
it had a average depth of 5ft with a clear clay bottom.
It is surrounded with mature trees,it has plenty of reed beds and lilly
pads,so there are pleny of features for you to fish to.
there are 12 swims on this lake. From spring onwards we would recommend you book in advance to avoid dissapointment, especially at weekends.
Kingfisher is stocked with plenty of carp from a 2lb up to high teens
there are handful of 20lb+ carp aswell.
Also it is well stocked with golden and green tench, bream, chub,
barbel, rudd, roach, orfe, crucian carp and soon to be perch.

Fishing on the Kingfisher lake is ideal for the pleasure angler or if you are just starting carp fishing. Most baits
work boilies, sweetcorn, worm, method mix, spam is a good bait for the carp and tench but in the summer months we would advise not to use maggots,as the rudd and roach
wont leave you alone.
We do allow groundbait as long as you are sensible with it.
The Kingfisher lake is just past the woodlands lake so in the summer months it is only a short walk from your car.
