Carp and Catfish Rules
 
No one under 18 unless accompanied by an adult. 
 
No camping tents. 
 
No wading.
 
No swimming.
 
No disposable barbacues.
 
The toilets provided must be used.
 
No braided mainline.
 
When night fishing all anglers must have a sounder box or
receiver in there bivvy
 
No leadcore.
 
Landing nets must be a minimum of 42 inches.
 
Net dips must be used on every visit. 
 
No fires.
 
No nuts of any kind (Tiger,Peanuts Ect).
 
No fixed rigs.
 
Barbless hooks only.
 
Rods must not be left unattended at anytime.
 
All litter to be taken away.
 
No standing with any fish.
 
Anglers must have a carp care kit with them.
 
Large paded unhooking mats must be used.
 
No pre-baiting.
 
Alcohol to be kept to a minimum.
 
No dogs.
 
No carp sacks or keepnets.
 
Noise to be kept to minimum.
 
Minimum line 15lb max 18lb.
 
No visitors or spectators without prior consent.
 
No drugs.
 
No cigarette stumps to be left or thrown in the lake.
 
No mistreating fish. 
 
Anglers must be in possesion of a valid rod licence.
 
The management have the right to check any lines,rigs or bait at anytime.
 
CCTV is in use for the welfare of the fish.
 
Management reserve the right to amend any rule at any time. 
 
The management accept no responsibility for damage to vehicles,persons or property
whilst using the facilities at Denhall Fisheries.
 
All persons engaged in activities within Denhall Fisheries do so
at their own risk.
 
 
 
PIKE FISHING RULES
 
Please be aware that Pike ,although noted predators are fragile fish and will literally fight to the death to avoid capture. Light weight tackle allows the pike to do this,therefore proper pike tackle should be used to enable you to bring the fish in quickly and safely.
 
Pike fishing between 1st October and 31st March only.
 
Pike anglers must use an effective indicator system that registers drop-back bites when ledgering.
 

No gags or gaffs.

All pike anglers must have landing nets of not less than 36″ .

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES must live fish be brought onto our waters.

No pike fishing using less than 15lb line.

Anglers(Under 18) must be accompanied by an experienced pike angler who must be responsible for their actions.

All anglers must have forceps, long nosed pliers and cutters.

Unhooking mats must be used.

No night fishing for pike.

Crushed barbs or barbless hooks only.

No lures.

All pike to be returned to the same water from which it was caught.

Main line must be a minimum of 15lbs mono.

Wire  traces with a minimum breaking strain of 20lbs must be used .

Boat rods/Waggler rods or Barbel rods are not to be used for any method of Pike fishing. Pike rods /Carp rods with a minimum test curve of 2.5lbs must be used. 

Finally if you do not consider fish welfare an issue and top priority and you cannot follow these simple rules, then please do not fish Denhall Fisheries,as anyone caught flouting the above rules will be told to leave immediatly and banned for life.

£10 a day for 2 rods or £15 a day for 3 rods
£25 for 24 HRS for 2 rods or £30 for 24 HRS for 3 rods
